The Blizzident is a unique toothbrush designed and printed to perfectly fit your teeth. To get a Blizzident, all you need is an impression of your teeth – which any dentist can easily provide. The impression is scanned and turned into a digital model, which is then used as the basis for the brush design.

The brush certainly looks pretty weird, but that’s because it’s actually designed in the shape of your mouth. To brush, you just place your mouth over the Blizzident, chew and wiggle your teeth around for a few seconds, release and rinse.
The manufacturers claim that the Blizzident reduces your brushing time down to just 6 seconds. Basically, when brushing your teeth normally, each tooth needs about 4.8 seconds. The custom brush has bristles aimed at each part of your teeth and even under the gum line, so all of your teeth get brushed at once.
Safety Concerns
If you’re thinking of getting a Blizzident, one thing you need to be aware of is that your brushing habits will change drastically. Even though the bristles are pointed directly at your teeth, you’ll still need to be careful about the direction you move your jaws; too much brushing on your gums can cause serious gum issues. Luckily, this isn’t as serious of an issue as it could be, since the brush uses extra fine soft bristles, but you should still make sure you’re brushing correctly.
The Blizzident does have FDA approval for its manufacturing methods, so there shouldn’t be any problems with the materials themselves – that is, aside from the cost. Your first Blizzident will run you over $200, and that’s before you pay for an impression. After that, you can get a new Blizzdent for around $150, since they’ve already developed a model.
